I am currently a JSPS postdoctoral in Arima-Tokunaga Lab., Department of Advanced Materials Science, University of Tokyo.
My research interest is field-induced properties and novel functionalities of magnetic materials.

- 2022.02.21: A paper titled “Nematicity and fractional magnetization plateaus induced by spin-lattice coupling in the classical kagome-lattice Heisenberg antiferromagnet” was submitted.
[arXiv:2202.09077] - 2022.01.19: I visited Osaka university from Jan. 11st to 13rd to perform high-presure synthesis at Ishiwata Lab. It was very exciting for me, and fortunately the synthesis was also successful.
- 2021.12.21: A paper titled “Physical properties of liquid oxygen under ultrahigh magnetic fields” was published in Physical Review B.
[Phys. Rev. B 104, 224423 (2021).] - 2021.12.17: A paper titled “Complex magnetic phase diagram with a small phase pocket in a three-dimensional frustrated magnet CuInCr4S8” was submitted. I will make a poster presentation about this work at the meeting ICFTS (The International Conference on Frustration, Topology and Spin Textures) held from Dec. 22nd to 23rd.

[Phys. Rev. B 104, 174422 (2021).] - 2021.11.09: A paper titled “Effects of spin-lattice coupling and a magnetic field in classical Heisenberg antiferromagnets on the breathing pyrochlore lattice” was published in Physical Review B.
[Phys. Rev. B 104, 085206 (2021).] - 2021.09.03: I will make two oral presentations at the next JPS meeting. The topic is the discovery of novel field-induced magnetic phases on the breathing pyrochlore lattice magnets, LiGaCr4O8 and CuInCr4S8.
- 2020.10.28: A paper titled “Heavy carrier effective masses in van der Waals semiconductor Sn(SeS) revealed by high magnetic fields up to 150 T” was published in Physical Review B.
[Phys. Rev. B 104, 085206 (2021).] - 2021.04.01: I moved to Arima-Tokunaga Lab., Department of Advanced Materials Science, University of Tokyo. I will work as a JSPS postdoctoral.
- 2021.03.08: A paper titled “Higher magnetic-field generation by a mass-loaded single-turn coil” was published in Review of Scientific Instruments.
[Rev. Sci. Instrum. 92, 033902 (2021).] - 2021.02.23: I will make an oral presentation at the next JPS meeting. The topic is quantum antiferromagnets on the anisotropic triangular lattice A3ReO5X2.
- 2021.02.16: I will join FBG strain gauge meet up (online) and make a short presentation on Feb. 22.
- 2021.01.28: I passed the PhD defence today.
- 2021.01.14: I will give a talk at the 8th online high-field seminar on Jan. 22 from 11:00 a.m. The topic is “Sucsessive phase transitions on the breathing pyrochlore magmets in high magnetic fields”.
- 2020.10.28: A paper titled “Broad tunability of carrier effective masses in two-dimensional halide perovskites” was published in ACS Energy Letter.
[ACS Energy Lett. 5, 3609 (2020).] - 2020.09.25: I was awarded the Best Student Presentation Award in the area 5 at the JPS 2020 Autumn Meeting.
- 2020.08.18: A paper titled “Crystal-field Paschen-Back effect on ruby in ultrahigh magnetic fields” was published in the open access journal Physical Review Research. I will make a poster presentation about this work at the next JPS meeting.
[Phys. Rev. Research 2, 033257 (2020).] - 2020.04.06: I visited Germany from Mar. 5th to 21st to perform ESR measurement at Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory (HZDR). It was my first experience to do experiment in a static magnetic field.
- 2020.02.25: A paper titled “Magnetization process of the breathing pyrochlore magnet CuInCr4S8 in ultrahigh magnetic fields up to 150 T” was published in Physical Review B.
[Phys. Rev. B 101, 054434 (2020).] - 2020.02.21: The science camp was held in Kohama laboratory from Feb. 18th to 21st. We performed high-field experiments with university students.
- 2019.11.28: I will make 2 presentations (1 oral, 1 poster) at high-field meeting held from Dec. 3rd to 5th (@Osaka university).
- 2019.10.31: A paper titled “Magnetocaloric effect and spin-strain coupling in the spin-nematic state of LiCuVO4” was published in the open access journal Physical Review Research.
